About Ridgely, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Ridgely is a small town in Lake County, Tennessee with just over 1,500 residents. Right on the state line between Tennessee and Kentucky, this community is safe, quiet and ideal for raising a family. Seasonal weather means that the town experiences warm springs and summers and cooler autumns and winters. The kids can play in the sprinkler in August and build a snowman in December!
Lake County is named for the lake which occupies much of the northern portion of the county, Reelfoot Lake. A large portion of the lake is more like swampland. The lake is the site of the Reelfoot Lake State Park which is a major hunting and fishing spot in Tennessee. There is much to do on a sunny spring or summer day. There are picnic shelters, boat ramps, wildlife viewing areas and more. In the colder seasons, of course, avid hunters will still hunt. There is also a nature museum if you are looking to get in out of the cold.
This part of the country is absolutely perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. Nearby Greenfield, Tennessee is home to the Big Cypress Tree State Natural Area. The park was named for the national champion bald cypress tree that once grew there. The largest bald cypress in the United States until 1976 when it was killed by a lightning storm, the tree is still one of the areas “claims to fame.”This park is the perfect place to spend a spring or summer day taking in nature. It is small, quiet and relaxing built to accentuate and showcase nature.
