About Martin, TN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Martin (population: approximately 11,000) is a small town in Northwestern Tennessee. It is a working class town with moderate weather and seasonal changes. The warmest month is typically July and the coldest is usually January with neither being extreme.
The University of Tennessee at Martin, which operates a large experimental farm and was named “A Best Southeastern College” by The Princeton Review is located in this otherwise sleepy town. It is one of 5 campuses in the University of Tennessee network and is largely focused on agriculture but is also a good choice for those interested in studying education, nursing and more. Its focus on agriculture can be attributed to its rural setting and mild weather but other programs at the university are certainly worthy of some consideration.
This town is a great place to experience Tennessee country. The area offers other great outdoor attractions to check out when the weather is nice. Lake Isom National Wildlife Refuge, Grassy Island Auto Tour and the Great River Road Trail are wonderful places to take in the wildlife, landscape and some of the history of Northwestern, TN. If you visit in the winter and are in search of an indoor attraction, Discovery Park in Union City is certainly worth a visit.
